You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Platform. The Platform is intended for financial professionals, students, and other adult learners.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. License to Use the Platform
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Platform and its simulators for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
4. Simulated Environment
All simulators, market data, wallets, portfolios, transactions, and client scenarios on the Platform are simulated. No real funds, real client information, real private keys, or real regulated financial activity are involved. Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment, tax, legal, or financial advice.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or to violate any regulation.
- Do not upload real client data, real seed phrases, or real private keys.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
- Do not share your account or resell access.
6. Certifications and Scores
Certificates and scores issued through the Platform reflect performance in simulated exercises. They are not a regulatory license, registration, or endorsement by any government or self-regulatory body.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its content, curriculum, simulators, and trademarks, is owned by The Blockchain Academy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. See our Copyright page for details.
8. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BLOCKCHAIN ACADEMY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Blockchain Academy is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
